Stretch Marks and Scars

Stretch marks are largely genetic. They can be caused by rapid growth or changes in weight. Commonly they appear during teenage years and pregnancy. Scars and stretch marks both have similar underlying causes - the collagen of the skin has not formed correctly. The sooner treatment begins after the formation of the scar, the better the outcome will be.
